Overview

Alton Place is a planned community designed to protect the nationally recognized Big Darby Creek Watershed. Half of the 350-acre development is set aside for expansion of wetlands, restored streams, lakes, grasslands and woodlands.  The project aspires change the pattern of regional suburban development by elevating the living environment for its residents. It features a broad diversity of housing stock to accommodate all stages of life. Housing types include traditional single-family homes, urban attached housing, brownstones, townhouses, flats, and housing for seniors. The rear yards of each home borders either a stream, lake, woodland, wetland or natural grassland. Located adjacent to five public schools, student residents will be able to walk to school their entire career.  The walkable village center is anchored by a signature “wharf front” that will arise from the edge of a new lake; a place for locals to gather for events, engage with neighbors and enjoy watching sunsets across nature reserves. Retail, hospitality, restaurants, professional offices, medical, and more are provided to service local residents.  Walk/bike ways provide purposeful connections through the natural features, extending to the regional network of park lands, sports fields, pools, golf course, playgrounds and many other area facilities.

Overview

Front&Fulton is the redevelopment of a collection of historic buildings formerly home to the Hoster Brewery located at 477 South Front Street. The project will become a highly recognizable landmark in the fabric of downtown Columbus. The collection of historic brewery buildings will be injected with new vitality. It will become the epicenter of this downtown neighborhood, a place where people live, work and congregate. The redevelopment includes great outdoor gathering spaces, event spaces, spa, coffee shop, pubs, local services, restaurants, office space and living units. This development will revitalize the Brewery District and once again make it the place to be in Columbus.

Overview

The Hamlet on Darby services an affluent and aging demographic in the northwest Central Ohio market that lacks new rental housing options. The development requires at least 80 percent of units to have one occupant over age of 55. The site is located along the Big Darby Creek which provides a beautiful setting ideal for walking trails, community gardens and living in a natural habitat. The site plan is designed to maximize the visibility of the picturesque surroundings. The homes are arranged with covered porches that face uniquely secluded courtyards, providing separation from car circulation, a sense of security and interactivity with neighbors. The apartments have open floor plans with vaulted ceilings, two large bedrooms, kitchen and dining area, all with abundant windows. Finishes are upgraded and appeal to residents who are transitioning from larger single-family housing. Each unit has two bathrooms and a single car attached garage. This is the first of many more Hamlet projects to be developed around central Ohio.
